It's time for the Winter Festival again! March 4th thru the 6th. The Polar Plunge Event fundraiser is the most fun to watch. There are many other activities as well.
The ice road was open for a short time this year but now closed. It never was thick enough for heavy trucks but cars did make the trip. Always a funny feeling to drive across the channel knowing just how deep the water is below.

Any chance of the road recovering so the race will still be run for the Winter Festival?
