The ice road is all done for the season and the wind sled is taking island residents back and forth to Bayfield for errands and groceries. A lone para-skier had the channel all to himself. The ice still plenty thick to supporta man. Nobody managed to break through the ice this year with a vehicle. Thankfully! Hopefully no ATV's or snowmobiles will fall in as the lake thaws in weeks to come.
