You're funny! I don't care what people think....I still "sing" as I walk along the rural road. I have no doubt that my latest bear sighting heard me coming. That's OK!!!! I have seen 7 bears this summer....so I will keep on singing!
I love the bear cartoons. I am coming up from MO in Oct. I hope to find those pretty walks but as we have no bear sightings in the middle of my town, I have never seen one. How should I react when I do?
I was walking in the countryside. I make a point of making noise so that the "critters" in the woods know that I am present. **Even if it is a ridiculous song....and if I see a bear....I put my arms over my head to look larger....and walk backwards to let it know that I am not a threat to his territory. I have been advised "NEVER" to run. So far the bears I have sighted have been "on the move" and have not been a threat of any kind.
