Wild Sweet Pea and Blueberries

Walking around the woods was interesting this weekend. All sorts of flowers and blueberries.
If you just stand a minute and look around you spot things you wouldn't otherwise notice if you were hiking in a hurry. Such as Wild Sweet Pea, a nice looking plant that you can't eat like the garden Sweet Peas. It's toxic says the plant guide. Also the Blueberries are now ready for picking. Fun to search for them and make pancakes or muffins.

Not to step on another blogs toes with this posting! If your interested in plants the local expert has a wonderful blog that is full of vast information:

Ah Yes! We have picked many blueberries and they are wonderful in our morning pancakes. A different twist is to fill our Danish "Aebelskiver" pancakes with some fresh blueberries. Yum! We also put in some apple filling that is very tasty too! "Skivers" are puff pancakes and welcome unusual fillings!

I love blueberries. I make an asparagus, bacon and blueberry smoothie with them. With nutmeg. And people think I'm unstable.

Wow what a smoothie that is!
Frankly it sounds interesting.
The world needs more unstable people.

I save the last few mouthfuls and pour them down my pants.
